Monty Desai | Attorney, Greenville, SC
Monty Desai | CLG Partner & Attorney

The Carolina Law Group is proud to announce that Partner and Attorney Monty Desai has received recognition as a Top 10 Personal Injury Attorney Under 40 in South Carolina, by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys (NAOPIA). NAOPIA uses a thorough selection process, looking for only the best and the brightest for its Top 10 designation. With thousands of attorneys in every state, the selection process is independent and rigorous, ensuring that only attorneys who are truly the best in their field make their state’s Top 10 list.

To make that list, an attorney first has to be nominated by another attorney who is licensed and currently practicing. Then the research staff verifies that the nominee meets the requirements of NAOPIA membership. The attorneys who meet those requirements are culled, and only those that stand out are selected by NAOPIA’s processing committee to move on to the next step. From that group, NAOPIA’s Board of Governors chooses the attorneys who make the Top 10 list.

The strength of the process and the independent way in which nominees are provided help keep the process focused on high-quality candidates dedicated to helping their clients with legal matters. Monty Desai has shown that dedication in his work, with many satisfied clients and a strong level of integrity in his profession. Monty received admission to the South Carolina bar in 2005. He has worked as a prosecutor for the Greenville County Solicitor’s Office, and was a shareholder for a prominent plaintiff’s firm, also located in Greenville County.

Monty Desai is a U.S. Veteran and served as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy. He is also a former adjunct professor at Greenville Technical College, where he taught in the Criminal Justice Division. Throughout his career, Monty has put others first and focused on ensuring that he gives his all to his clients. It is this dedication and his skill in the legal field that have made him a candidate for the NAOPIA’s Top 10 list, and carried him through the selection process to a position on that list for South Carolina.

Both clients and colleagues appreciate Monty’s skill in legal matters, his dedication to others and his leadership within Carolina Law Group.
