The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is a group that extends membership only to attorneys who have won verdicts and settlements in the amount of $1 million or more.
Matthew Whitehead and Nihar Patel join their colleague at The Carolina Law Group, Monty D. Desai, as members in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Million Dollar Advocates Forum, A Prestigious National Group
The Forum was established in 1993 and is highly selective. Approximately 4,000 attorneys across the country are members – less than 1% of lawyers in the U.S.
Gaining membership to this prestigious group takes more than a simple application. Applicants must show that they have acted as Principal Counsel in at least one case that ended with a final judgment or settlement in their client’s favor for at least $1 million. Applicants must also be current members of the Bar and understand that they may be open to disciplinary action from the Bar if they misrepresent themselves or their experience on their application to the Forum.
Memberships last a lifetime and is indicative of the members’ “ability to accomplish superior results in complex cases,” according to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum website.
